Lei Jun said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency reporters after the meeting that the discussion on 5G standards is one of the hotspots of this forum. The technological innovation and continuous upgrading of EUHT are conducive to China's competition for 5G international standards.
At the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, New Shoreline Company showcased the world's first commercial ultra wideband vehicle to ground wireless communication solution combined with EUHT, attracting the attention of many professionals and reaching cooperation intentions with railway departments in countries such as South Korea and Germany.
Lei Jun introduced that from 2G, 3G to 4G, wireless communication is mainly aimed at the personal consumer market. With the beginning of the 5G era, communication giants have realized the importance of the industrial market for the Internet of Things and have begun to research highly reliable and low latency wireless communication technologies.
