What is the definition and structure of a suction cup antenna?

1. The materials of antenna radiators include stainless steel, pure copper, memory alloy, etc., and their shapes are usually whip shaped or rod shaped. The suction cup antenna radiator is theoretically a monopole (whip shaped) antenna, with one arm of a symmetrical oscillator perpendicular to an ideal conductor plane (in the air). According to the antenna principle, the resonant frequency of a wire antenna is an integer multiple of 1/2 wavelength. According to the mirror principle, on an ideal infinite plane, the ideal small electrical size of a suction cup antenna is 1/4 wavelength. Assuming that the gain needs to be increased, a central induction can be used to increase the length of the antenna radiation body (an integer multiple of 1/4 wavelength).

3. The common feeder lines include RG series (RG58, RG174), 3D wire, etc.

The common types of antenna interfaces include N-head, SMA, BNC, TNC, I-PEX, etc. Among them, the commonly used connectors for suction cup antennas include N-head, SMA, BNC, TNC, etc., which are male and female. When selecting an antenna, it is necessary to purchase a connector that matches the device.
